The “Developing Successful Grant Proposal for American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Services (AIVRS) Programs” (December 2012) grant writing manual was developed specifically for the AIVRS programs and used during the national grant writing workshops.

Take note that some changes have been made by RSA; for example, in the selection criteria factors a – h, Special Application Requirements 34 CFR 372.21 (a)-(k), and changes in 34 CFR 371 regulations as a result of the new WIOA regulations.

RSA will update all changes in the next AIVRS application kit for the FY 2018 grant competition and also provide instructions in the development of new AIVRS five-grant grant proposals. The AIVRTTAC does not provide grant writing training and technical assistance for the AIVRS programs. You may contact Lanor Curole, President of CANAR, at lanor.curole@unitedhoumanation.org for information on grant writing services for the AIVRS programs.
