Click on the two links for the last two webinars that we will discuss: Conducting AIVRS Consumer Case File Reviews and Developing a Relevant Policies and Procedures Manual for AIVRS Programs.
The Talking Circles are an opportunity for AIVRS Programs personnel to facilitate discussions that foster personal and professional growth. Each participant has knowledge to share and experiences that may be beneficial to others.
The purpose of the Talking Circle is to convene AIVRS Program personnel in a virtual platform and engage in a collective process of learning.
The intended outcomes of the Talking Circle are:
- Identify individuals from other AIVRS Programs who can serve as a resource
- Increase the depth of knowledge about Case Management and Policies and Procedures
- Identify solutions to common and sometimes difficult problems by sharing existing knowledge, experiences, and ideas to improve the AIVRS Program
- Learn the importance of improving rehabilitation services for tribal members with disabilities to prepare for and maintain gainful employment
